iFLY San Antonio Overview
If you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping experience, then indoor skydiving at iFLY San Antonio is the perfect activity for you. Located in Texas, iFLY has been leading the industry in indoor skydiving technology for over a decade.
About iFLY San Antonio
iFLY San Antonio features the 12-foot Generation 7 wind tunnel model from iFLY Tunnel Systems (formerly, SkyVenture). The state-of-the-art recirculating system has two fans at the top of the tunnel, pulling air through the flight chamber at speeds of up to 163 mph before it loops back around without ever leaving the system. This technology allows for a smoother airflow than any other wind tunnel design and is much more efficient to operate.
The flight chamber itself is designed with glass walls, giving the flyer 360-degree views as they fly around the tunnel, and also allowing friends and family to enjoy watching from the comfortable spectators loung area.
Indoor Skydiving Experience at iFLY San Antonio
When you arrive at iFLY San Antonio, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who'll walk you through the process of checking in and provide you with complete gear, including a jumpsuit, goggles, helmet, and ear plugs. After this, you'll be given a briefing by a qualified iFLY instructor who will talk you through safety proceedures, hand signals for communication while inside the tunnel, as well as some basic body manouvers.
You'll then be taken through to the flight chamber, where you'll enter one by one with your instructor. You'll instantly feel the powerful flow of air liftin you off your feet. Now, all that's left to do is to let yourself fall forwards, trusting the the air will catch you and keep you afloat.
With the most basic Kickstarter package at iFLY San Antonio, you'll enjoy two flights, each one lasting approximately 60 seconds, which is more than the freefall time of a regular skydive. The whole experience from arrival lasts about a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes, which includes a brief training session, gearing up, flying time, and debrief, where you'll receive your iFLY certificate.

This was the best experience ever! I went on a vacation with my family and we had a great time. I would strongly suggest to not bring little kids. They cants fly high (they have to be held the whole time. Otherwise it was great! I would do this again, and again!! My whole family had a blast! Ask for Houston- he was the best instructor (calmed worries, smiled, mad jokes, and made me feel less worried)!

Loved it. Yes it’s pricey, but you pay for an experience. I’d highly recommend spending a little extra on the High Fly, because that was a lot of fun. Edgar was an excellent instructor.

Great Experience! Went with my nephew, had a blast! Josh Seery was great, if you have the option, get him as your instructor. He'll have you flying right in no time! One note, bring a good set of earplugs, even with the foam ones they give you you'll probably get a small headache. Would definitely go again.

I am so glad they didn't build a powerful tunnel like the ones in Austin or Houston. Typical San Antonio. I would fly an hour a week....
This one is ok for kids.
