About iFLY Utah
iFLY Utah, also known as iFLY Ogden, is a 12-foot recirculating wind tunnel that was established in 2007 and is a part of the iFLY family, which has over 80 locations worldwide. One of the original SkyVenture (now known as iFLY Tunnel Systems) recirculating tunnels, like iFLY Denver and SkyVenture New Hampshire, iFLY Utah may be slightly older but that doesn't make it any less fun!
In fact, most modern 12-foot tunnels have 2 fans to provide airflow, whereas iFLY Utah has 4 massive fans, generating wind speeds of up to 150 mph! These fans pull air up and through the flight chamber before it loops back around again. This system creates a wall-to-wall cushion of air that allows individuals to fly without the need for planes or parachutes.
Indoor Skydiving Experience at iFLY Utah
Visitors to iFLY Utah will receive a brief training session before entering the wind tunnel with an IBA certified instructor. Once inside, visitors will experience the thrill of flying in a controlled environment with winds speeds up to 150 mph.
Safety measures are a top priority at iFLY Utah, with all visitors required to wear a jumpsuit, helmet, and goggles. These will be provided to you after checking in. The certified instructors in the wind tunnel will also provide assistance and ensure a safe experience for all. The Solomon Center
iFLY Utah is just one of the many attractions housed in the Solomon Center, a multi-entertainment center in Ogden. The Solomon Center offers visitors a unique entertainment experience with additional attractions such as indoor surfing at Flowrider Utah, a rock climbing wall, and Fat Cats family fun center. The latter attraction includes a 32-lane bowling alley, arcade, miniature golf, billiards, bumper cars, and laser tag.
Visitors can enjoy food and drinks at the restaurants and bars located inside the Solomon Center, making it a one-stop destination for family fun and entertainment.
Who Can Fly at iFLY Utah?
Indoor skydiving is an activity that almost anyone can participate in. It's even becoming more and more popular with people with physical disabilities, due to the weightlessness created by the strong airflow. Despite being a very inclusive activity, there are some restrictions to bear in mind when making your booking:
- All ages are welcome from 3 to 103.
- There is a maximum weight limit of 230 pounds for anyone under 6 feet and 250 pounds for anyone over 6 feet.
- Not suitable for pregnant women.
- If you have any heart, neck, or back conditions you should consult with a doctor before booking.
- If you have previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder, iFLY strongly recommends that you DO NOT fly.

I bought a flight for my husband and grandson. This was my grandson’s second time but my husband’s first. They both loved it and my husband has a second pass that he plans on adding more time to. My husband is so excited to do this again so he can go sky diving. A great gift and great fun for everyone. The instructors are amazing and are fun to watch. I would recommend this and the Ogden IFLY to anyone looking for a fun time and great workout.
