iFLY Utah (also known as iFLY Ogden) is a 12-foot (3.7 m) octagonal, wall-to-wall recirculating tunnel located in Ogden, Utah, approximately 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City. The tunnel sports wind speeds up to 150 miles per hour. Open since 2007, it’s one of the older SkyVenture recirculating tunnel models, like iFLY Denver and SkyVenture New Hampshire, and was recently incorporated into the iFLY armada.
While it isn’t the newest or most advanced wind tunnel, it is the only indoor skydiving location in Utah, and one of the few wind tunnels in the region. To the north, the closest wind tunnel is over 700 miles away, at iFLY Portland. To the south, the closest option is Vegas Indoor Skydiving (nearly 500 miles away), and to the east, indoor flyers have options at iFLY Colorado Springs and iFLY Denver (also 500 miles away).
iFLY Utah is a part of the Solomon Center, an entertainment complex that houses Flowrider Utah, an indoor surfing wave similar to the one found at SkyVenture New Hampshire.
In addition to the only indoor surfing Utah has to offer, Solomon Center is also home to a rock climbing wall and a family fun center, Fat Cats. The latter attraction includes a 32-lane bowling alley, arcade, miniature golf, billiards, bumper cars, and laser tag.
