iFLY Perth opened its doors to the public on December 17th, 2016, and features a 7th generation, 14-foot diameter wind tunnel from iFLY Tunnel Systems, formerly known as SkyVenture. The state-of-the-art tunnel uses dual recirculating technology where four fans located at the top of the tunnel push air through two separate towers which loop around and converge below the flight chamber, producing a powerful current of air that is enough for us humans to fly in!
iFLY's instructors are trained and qualified to only the best standards to ensure a safe and fun experience for all. The wind tunnel itself is a vertical glass chamber that allows flyers to experience the sensation of free-falling at speeds that can reach north of 250km/h. It's suitable for all ages and skill levels and requires no previous experience or training. Plus, all equipment is provided, including a jumpsuit, helmet, goggles, and earplugs.
