iFLY Seattle (also known as iFLY Renton) is a 14-foot (4.3 m) recirculating tunnel located just south of Seattle, Washington, between the communities of Tukwila and Renton. In operation since 2011, the SkyVenture tunnel was originally built by private owners and acquired as part of the iFLY World franchise in 2012.
iFLY Seattle is the only indoor skydiving Seattle location and the only wind tunnel in Washington State. Along with the newer iFLY Portland, which opened in 2015, iFLY Seattle is also the only tunnel in the Pacific Northwest. This Generation 3 tunnel is older than most iFLY tunnels, but still provides an exhilarating experience for new flyers and is more than capable as a training tunnel for professional bodyflyers.
The atmosphere inside the tunnel is designed to feel like a real skydiving experience. The wind speed can be adjusted up to 210 mph (338 km/h), providing both a real challenge and a thrilling feeling of weightlessness. All the while, spectators can watch the action from the viewing gallery located in the tunnel's lobby.

The iFLY Seattle Experience
Indoor skydiving at iFLY Seattle provides a thrilling and safe experience for all guests. When checking in, flyers are provided with complete gear including a jumpsuit, helmet, earplugs, and goggles. After gearing up, they receive a briefing from a qualified iFLY instructor on flying positions and hand signals before being taken through to the tunnel.
The indoor skydiving experience itself lasts for 60 seconds per flight where participants reach heights of up to 40 feet, enjoying two to four flights depending on their chosen package.

Who Can Take Part?
Indoor skydiving is an activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical abilities. There are some are a few basic rules worth considering:
- Participants must be more than 3 years old and typically must weigh between 40-300 pounds.
- Anyone between 260 and 300 pounds should contact iFLY before making a reservation.
- People who suffer from certain medical conditions such as epilepsy, heart problems or back issues may not be eligible for indoor skydiving due to safety concerns.
- Pregnant women should not to take part in this activity due to safety reasons.
- Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign a release of liability
