Londoners and visitors to the city have something new to get excited about with the opening of iFLY at The O2 in March. The addition of the indoor skydiving experience to the entertainment district is sure to make for an unforgettable day out for families and thrill-seekers alike.

As one of the busiest attractions on the Greenwich Peninsula, The O2 receives an estimated 9 million guests annually. With the Cineworld movie theatre and Oxygen Freejumping already attracting visitors, the iFLY wind tunnel is expected to further boost its popularity.

“The O2 is all about experiences and we’re constantly exploring ways to keep our offering exciting, fresh and enticing for visitors to The O2, come day or night, and I believe iFLY does exactly this. It is an entirely unique leisure experience and one which brings excitement for all age groups. I can think of no better place to launch London’s first indoor skydiving experience than a destination which is known to raise the roof on a daily basis!” stated Janine Constantin-Russell, Managing Director at Icon Outlet at The O2 and the Entertainment District said:

Simon Ward, CEO at iFLY International, also expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled to be bringing the experience to [London] and even more excited to be hosted at the world’s most iconic leisure and entertainment destination, The O2.”

He continued, “We believe everyone, at any age or ability, should have the opportunity to experience the pure unadulterated joy of human flight. Opening the experience to Londoners is the next step in our mission to deliver the dream of flight to everyone.”

The iFLY experience is all about human flight, giving everyone the chance to enjoy the sensation of floating on air. With over 90 tunnels worldwide, each session is run by certified instructors who ensure a safe and unforgettable experience. Already, 19 million people have savored the opportunity to soar inside iFLY’s proprietary wind tunnels across the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and France.

With the opening of iFLY at the O2 in London, indoor skydiving enthusiasts can now add London to their list of destinations to experience the thrill of human flight. The 4.3-meter-wide vertical wind tunnel will be the perfect spot for beginners and experts alike to jump in the tunnel and experience the freedom of bodyflight. And with instructors manning each session, there’s no need to worry about safety, making it an exciting experience that anyone can enjoy.

The opening of iFLY at The O2 in London is sure to be a major attraction for Londoners and tourists, adding yet another exciting dimension to an already vibrant entertainment district.
