iFLY Oakville, formerly known as iFLY Toronto, is a world-class indoor skydiving facility located in Oakville, Toronto, Canada. In 2018 iFLY opened its second facility in Toronto, iFLY Whitby, and rebranded iFLY Toronto as iFLY Oakville.
It offers an adrenaline-fueled experience like no other, allowing you to feel the thrill of freefalling in a safe and controlled environment. The facility boasts a state-of-the-art wind tunnel that can generate wind speeds of up to 300 km/h, simulating the sensation of flying through the sky.
Features of the iFLY Oakville Facility
The iFLY Oakville facility is a remarkable feat of engineering. The tunnel is a 14-foot recirculating model which is similar to the existing Canadian wind tunnel SkyVenture Montreal. It features four powerful fans located at the top of a 45-foot tall flight chamber. These fans suck the air up and through the tunnel, providing flyers with a cushion of air that allows them to fly, exactly the same as the freefall experience on a normal skydive.
The facility caters to all skill levels, from first-time flyers to professionals, and has specially trained instructors accredited by the International Bodyflight Association.
Who can Fly at iFLY Oakville?
IFLY Oakville's indoor skydiving experience is ideal for anyone looking for a fun and unique activity. Guests can be as young as 4 years old and as old as 105 years old. Before a session, every flyer must go through a pre-flight safety check and receive a briefing from a qualified instructor on how to fly.
- Flyers must be at least 4 years old and able to wear a properly fitting safety helmet.
- Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to complete registration.
- Flyers must be less than 230 lbs (104 kgs).
- Flyers over 230 lbs (104 kgs) must contact the facility before flying for personalized options.
- You are not permitted to fly if you are pregnant; wearing a cast or under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
- If you have ever dislocated a shoulder, please contact us.
- If you have a history of heart, neck or back problems, you should check with your doctor first.
What to Expect from Your iFLY Experience?
A standard session at iFLY Oakville lasts for 60-90 minutes, with approximately 30 minutes dedicated to a pre-flight briefing and training. During this time, you'll learn the proper flying techniques and get fitted with a flight suit, helmet, and goggles. Once you're ready to fly, you'll enter the wind tunnel with your instructor, who will guide you through various skydiving body positions and provide tips for improving your techniques.

WOW WEE, had a great time and the staff at iFLY where amazing. When I was in the military, I did three jumps... never experienced "free falling" and have always been disappointed I never did... life got in the way... but not anymore!!! WOOT WOOT, living my youth again and having a blast. Can't wait to start the Wind Tunnel Training Program... come join the fun, you won't be disappointed.

I'm not happy that I would have to pay $180.00 for my 19 yr old grandson who has Down syndrome to participate. The normal fees apply for my other three grandchildren but I can't buy their flying Christmas presents as I can't leave Jacob out.
Sorry I-Fly, your fee schedule has cost you 4 new participants. I guess I'll do my shopping on-line or at one of the local malls
