Early October 2016: the first of the two tunnels has opened.
A construction photo surfaces showing the site of two 14 foot wind tunnels being constructed in The Jihua Park sports complex in Chongquing, China features two, 14 foot SkyVenture vertical wind tunnels  as well as flow riders, rock climbing and other attractions. This area is a tourist destination which includes shopping and lodging in addition to the entertainment offerings.
