Indoor Skydiving Source was born to help promote the sport of bodyflight (or indoor skydiving) around the world. The site was created with the aim of providing complete, accurate and technical information in an easy-to-consume manner.

History

The site began in January 2014. At this time, finding information on indoor skydiving facilities and the manufacturers involved in their creation was a difficult process. Most of the information was spread wide throughout various websites in bits and pieces, held on manufacturer or tunnel websites. Indoor Skydiving Source was born out of the need for a centralized resource for indoor skydiving. Since the initial creation, the site has grown to include a wealth of information on wind tunnels and bodyflight. If you have an idea or an improvement to this resource, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

“When the opportunity came about to take over operations at ISS, I didn’t think twice before making the leap. Vince built this thing from the ground up and he built it out of passion. That’s why ISS is, and always has been, the number 1 resource for indoor skydiving. It’s my job to make sure that never changes.

If you’ve got any suggestions for the site, please reach out to me here.

“I have been in the wind tunnel industry since 2010 and skydiving for a few more years back beyond that. I created ISS because there was a need for a community-based resource for indoor skydiving. Hopefully the site helps spread knowledge increases the interest in bodyflight.
